Latest iOS Vulnerability More Damaging than Anticipated Claims Security Expert

A prominent security expert has warned that the recently discovered bug in Apple’s iOS mobile operating system, which was patched by the company on Monday, poses far more serious security threat than initially anticipated.

The bug can be exploited by any attackers to gain unauthorised access to an iOS device’s data stream, and that too by using just a freely available tool.

The updates are really critical for iOS users who use their phone to access services such as online banking or PayPal, or even for those who frequently using public and unsecured Wi-Fi connections. [read more]
